Power BI Security Utility Application is for Power BI Security Management. It helps admins or help desk to define security rules in Power BI.
The purpose of the application is to provide the user interface to manage the security rules. The security rules generated in the app are seamlessly leveraged by Power BI for row-level security implementation.
Any organizations having loads of admin/ maintenance work can benefit much by deploying this application as the app enablement rules out the stringent authentication process and ensures instantaneous access to the reports without any glitches
Data is stored in the SQL server. It can either be Azure SQL or on-premises SQL server. It needs a PowerApps license considering the security and authentication measures.
